About Margie Beggs
Margie has been doing yoga since her late teens, following television celebrities such as Kareen Zebroff and Richard Hittleman. While raising a young family, yoga fell by the wayside for a while. One day while picking up a laundry basket of folded clothes a searing and sudden low back pain marked the beginning of a many year search for pain relief. The final diagnosis was osteo-arthritis and the prognosis not positive. Although the doctors were supportive in every way Margie was drawn to get back to her yoga practice. Within a few weeks the pain was much relieved and she continued by trial and error with gentle attentions she learned how to avoid positions that would create discomfort…. not only becoming pain free but actually building strength and new confidence.
Margie delved deeper into her yoga practice studying with many different teachers in many different disciplines both here in North America and in India. She teaches with an eclectic style that embraces the teachings of these many styles. Further training and study of pilates, fitness and meditation continue to transform both herself and her work with her clients.

Breathwork – 2 hours
Of course after all these years your body knows how to breathe… But are you beginning to wonder if things could be better? Perhaps you are experiencing stress, lack of energy, trouble sleeping, edginess… Did you know that all of these situations can be caused or worsened by the way you breathe?
In this class we will explore the ways your body breathes… and gently experiment with new techniques in order to tap into a greater relaxation and joy of life.
This class is recommended for everyone!
Yoga Rx
Help relieve arthritis and other pain in this gentle and supportive class. By using a selection of mindfulness techniques, conscious breathing, therapeutic movement and supported positions you will find yourself relaxing into a deeper sense of calm and well being. Expect improved posture, better sleep, more energy. (If this class has been recommended for you please call ahead to discuss your particular situation.
Fusion Conditioning for Golf
Get more enjoyment from the game you love!
This workshop combines pilates, yoga and strength training designed to create strong, flexible balanced muscles resulting in:
• a more relaxed, fluid and powerful swing
• greater club head speed
• longer drives
• less chance of injury in shoulders, lower back and hips
• increased comfort in the body
• increased power, concentration and control
Concentrate on precise movement patterns strengthening the mind’ s ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
